What should I delete from my C drive to clean it up a bit?

I've tried a lot of things such as removing all the programs I do not use, emptied recycle bin, clear internet files, and I searched through my C drive for unused files and deleted a lot of them. This didn't even put a dent in my problem. Before this my entire C drive was blue; now I have a tiny little line of pink. Any suggestions?

What should I delete from my C drive to clean it up a bit?
have you defragged it? Defragging cleans up all unneeded disk space and reorganizes it.

its generally in the control panel I have vista and its under system %26amp; maitence %26gt; administrative tools %26gt; defragment your hardrive for me... on xp its start %26gt; accessories %26gt; system tools %26gt; disk defragmenter
Reply:Deleting System Restore Points can free upto 3 GB...if u dont need system restore u can disable that too...some times updates of windows also crams up ur C drive....u can delete some files from my docs...if u store them there......

and Try this software....TuneUp Utilities......this analysis ur disk space and tells abt the files u can delete and have some space on ur HDD

Find it here www.tune-up.com

Hope this helps
Reply:Defragmenting and running disk cleanup always helps.
