actually i want to uninstall MSN messenger but the problem is i cannot find it in the "add or remove program" list...but i found it in the hard disk C ONLY...i afraid deleting in from there would effect my other program... help me!!!!!! it really bugging me...because i have to wait untill the MSN messenger to appear first, before my window ready ......what should i do.......??????

I agree with the other answer but you can also go to run and type in msconfig and hit start and un check msn .That will stop it as well
Reply:Double click to open the Messenger and click on Tools/Options and click on preferences tab, un-tick the option which says "Run messenger on windows startup" .
Next time when you restart PC it will not start.
Reply:You have to go to Windows programs to untick this one not just add/remove programs but also the add/remove windows components on the left. Add/remove is in the control panel
