How do i delete META-INF files from my p.c?

I downloaded some Java games for my mobile phone and saved to pc...they came out as folders with a META-INF file inside each folder i have uploaded the games to the phone ok, but now i can not delete them from my p.c it says Access denyed make sure the disk is not full, write protected or in use... if i try to open the folder it says the same ..Access denyed.


Please anyone any ideas how i get rid of these folders/files..i tryed to rename, and also delete in safe mode but still i get the same message..Access denyed...Help appriciated

How do i delete META-INF files from my p.c?
Right-click on the folder icon, select properties.


If the attributes read-only and hidden have a tick or solid block of colour in them then click them until they are clear.


Click on the Security tab.


Highlight your username in the top list.


In the list below ensure that Allow Full Control is ticked and that none of the Deny boxes are.


Click OK.





See if you can delete them now, if not, let me know as there are other things that can be done.
Reply:try booting in safe mode (F8)


go to said folder and then delete


safe mode doesn't load all the security


useful for deleting other files that shouldn't be there aswell
