Is it ok to delete files C:\users\mike\appData\local\te...
No problem dude....As the folder says, it's a temporary dump folder..!!! Actually it's good to delete them from time to time cos' they muck up ur hard disk space....... But don't delete anything when there are some programs running, no big deal but, some unsaved docs might be stored there.....
Reply:It would not matter, but any program that saves information into those folders would have to resave them into the folders again, so basically it is pointless unless the account it no longer in use.

Reply:from what i can see its in your temp file

that is where programs will store data that will be used later, viruses sometimes, or just a file it used and didnt delete

i would say dont delete anything in the folder unless you know what it is and what it does

if you are worried about a virus use a virus scanner (i reccomend AVG)
Reply:Only if the account Mike no longer exist.
Reply:Yes, do not delete the folder itself, but everthing in it can go out the window. It is a temp folder for a reason.
