c: is usually the default boot drive!~! if you have your d:\ set as bootable then all you have to do is make it your boot drive and the c:\ will then just be an additional drive,, which can be deleted...
Reply:You cannot simply delete that folder to delete Windows since there numerous other system issues (Registry, hidden files, etc.) that would need to be deleted at the same time - if you simply delete that folder, there is a good chance you will simply make your computer unusable.
Reply:You can do so as long as you are booting into XP pro on Drive D:. I should warn you that there may be some settings and such lost in doing so, and cannot guarntee the outcome of deleting it, but your computer should still work.
Reply:Open your computer remove drive c: make drive D: master boot up if every thing goes fine then remove the drive and install the one you removed and format it then install it as slave,in this case drive D: will become drive C: and drive C: will be clean drive as drive d:.
